PEACE PATROL enhances community safety and reduces opportunities for violence in public spaces by employing justice-impacted men, including returning citizens, to provide community-led visible deterrence in distressed neighborhoods. This initiative aligns with the spirit of the Million Man March and emphasizes the importance of reentry programs in effective violence prevention.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower African American men with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve Sustainable Manhood, grounded in clear evidence that they have disproportionately been victims of systemic inequities, marginalization, violence, and incarceration. By addressing these barriers, we promote community safety and facilitate the reentry of returning citizens into society. This mission is inspired by the spirit of the Million Man March, as we help these men uplift their communities—from their own house to the White House—improving conditions for everyone and transforming the cost of neglect into an investment in hope, resilience, and lasting change through effective violence prevention strategies.

We envision a world where African American men break the chains that have historically held them back, rising as powerful leaders and positive role models who confidently shape their own communities with dignity and purpose. We dream of a future where African American children grow up knowing their dreams are within reach and their voices matter as much as any other in society. We imagine communities nationwide filled with peace, community safety, and support, where equity thrives in every arena—education, business, politics, the arts, and community engagement. Inspired by movements like the Million Man March, we see a world where African American men reclaim their potential and uplift those around them, including returning citizens, helping to create a network of strength, resilience, and lasting change. This is a world where every African American man has the resources, respect, and support to succeed, contributing to violence prevention and inspiring generations to come.
